The course covers the tasks that a technician, engineer, or programmer needs to use in order to set up and program a FANUC Robot equipped with a PickTool software package

Course Objectives: Students successfully completing this course will be able to:

• Explain key concepts and understand PickTool terms
• Create a PickPRO simulation workcell from scratch and using the wizard
• Setup PickTool application software
• Teach a PickTool application using PickTool wizards
• Modify PickTool teach pendant programs for accurate picking and placing
• Run a PickTool application

The course consists of lectures, demonstrations, and a series of lab exercises designed to reinforce what the student has learned.
In addition to lab exercises, a pretest and posttest are used to measure mastery of objectives.
Audience: This course is intended for the person who must set up and program an R-30iA robot with a PickTool application software package.
Prerequisites: HandlingTool programming or equivalent and iRVision.
