The course covers tasks an operator, technician, programmer or engineer needs to setup and use the FANUC Robotics PalletTool Software Package with R-J2 and R-J3 Controllers up to Version 5.11.

Course Objectives: Students successfully completing this course will be able to:

• Power up and Jog the Robot
• Recover from common program and robot faults
• Setup the Pallet System
• Setup the Gripper Signals and Sensors
• Teach the Infeed and Pallet Stations and Station I/O
• Create the Unit Loads and Optimal Path and Download
• Execute production operations
• Create, modify and execute a palletizing teach pendant program
• Backup and restore individual programs and files

Recommended safety procedures are integrated into all training exercises.

The course consists of lectures, demonstrations, and a series of lab exercises designed to reinforce what the student has learned.

In addition to lab exercises, a pretest and posttest are used to measure mastery of objectives.

Audience: This course is intended for the person who must set up and record a program on a R-J, R-J2, or R-J3 controlled robot with the PalletTool application software package.
