A FANUC M-10iA robot with iRVision picks and sorts wire forms on a conveyor belt. A common problem with wire forms is that they tangle easily when parts fall into the box. The robot sorts and stacks the wires to prevent tangling of pieces when placed into a box.
The robot protects workers from toxic fumes and other safety concerns during this welding process. A FANUC M-16iB is shown assisting the weld process of a larger wire ring with a diameter of 60 inches. The use of the robots increased efficiency by 60% from a previously tedious process.
