This video features an LR Mate robot equipped with a multi-tooled end effector to manage the handling of both raw chips and carriers, before and after final assembly. The system assembles chips from tape and reel packages into plastic carriers, tests and sorts based on assembly and electrical performance test results, than groups finished parts for packaging while achieving a cycle time of 600 parts per hour.
