For example, the M-420iA series of industrial robots feature sophisticated motion control and reliable design for consistent performance and high productivity. The M-420iA is capable of performing a variety of applications and is the intelligent solution as a packaging robot, palletizing robot, material-handling robot, and parts transfer robot. The M-420iA can palletize standard 48" x 40" pallets at heights up to 40" with no additional hardware. In picking and packaging cases, the M-420iA can achieve rates up to 26 cycles per minute, while a smaller version, the M-421iA can handle rates up to 50 cycles per minute. This is the fastest motion speeds in its class, out performing other automated packaging systems, which will improve your productivity without sacrificing quality.

Food Grade Robot
The M-420iA is also a Food Grade robot. The M-420iA meets all of the stringent food industry requirements and features a rust-free construction that withstands chemical sanitizers that used in the food industry to prevent contamination. When equipped with FANUC’s vision sensor, the M-420iA utilizes visual line tracking to provide the flexibility to handle multiple products on the same automation line. This eliminates the need for costly fixtures and greatly reduces changeover time.
