FANUC Robotics is a full service machine-vision system integrator. We will work with you to adapt a vision system to new or existing production lines. We will deliver complete systems, including the cameras, computers, software, lights, and mechanical mounting assemblies. Integrators need information about, products, the equipment used to produce it, the quality-control steps in the production line, the speed of the line, usual reject ratio, and other factors. FANUC Robotics aligns themselves with one or two vision-component suppliers, so they know a few product lines in detail. For the integrator, this type of relationship results in fast response to orders, information about new products, and ready access to support people. By using the hardware and software from a few suppliers, the FANUC has built on experience gained producing each new system. A machine-vision system can inspect more than electronic components or assemblies. The camera in this system acquires images of rivets as they work their way up a vibrating positioner that orients them properly for use in fastening parts of a mechanical assembly.

FANUC Robotics specializes in machine vision customization into production lines, which is often unique to the application. FANUC Robotics would rather invest our engineering in developing new products or enhancing existing products that will yield a wide customer base for the product. 

FANUC Robotics will undertake any project that requires significant application engineering, multiple camera and lighting arrangements, and software development.  We have experience in a variety of vision platforms, and we will suggest which components will yield optimal results.
