A F-100iA robot picks up a tray of metal cranks and connecting rods from a storage rack and presents it to an LR Mate 200iC/5L robot equipped with the new FS-10iA force sensor. A second F-100iA presents an assembly fixture to the LR Mate 200iC/5L. A second LR Mate 200iC with iRVision 2D, picks crank pins and bushings from a visual parts feeder and presents them to the LR Mate 200iC/5L. The LR Mate 200iC/5L then uses the FS-10iiA force sensor to assemble the components. The second F-100iA transfers the completed assembly to a rack and the process repeats itself.
This video features the Flexible fixturing capabilities of the F-200iA, combined with the unmatched assembly capabilities of the LR Mate 200iC for an automated assembly operation. |
