LRMate Robot Loading FANUC ROBODRILL

A LR Mate 200iC robot loads a FANUC ROBODRILL through a side entrance. A dual part gripper is used to reduce the time required to load and unload the parts. Fixed overhead cameras are used to locate the randomly placed parts for pick-up. Use of robot automation to load and unload your machine tool maximizes your investment and allows for greater productivity.

Key Technology Demonstrated

LR Mate 200 iC Robot
  • Offers maximum performance in a light, efficient, accurate and nimble (LEAN) package
  • Meets the automation needs of a variety of industries including electronics, medical devices, food, metals, plastics, and packaged and consumer goods.
  • Its compact design and flexibility to quickly adapt to small lot sizes, new styles and other modifications provides manufacturers an affordable solution for small part, flexible production.
  • The six-axis, LR Mate 200 iC robot rates ‘best in class' for its wrist load capacity, repeatability, work envelope, and speed.
  • Multiple mounting options:  floor, tabletop, inside machines, angle and invert, which maximizes flexibility for small and narrow workspaces.
Made For Machine Tools
  • Increased productivity. Robots increase machine production by up to 20% over traditional methods.
  • Perform secondary operations. For longer machining times robot can perform deburring or guaging of finished parts.
  • Improved Ergonomics. Robot can eliminate workman's compensation and operator safety issues with moving heavy parts.
  • Increased Quality. Built-in vision can 100% inspect.
  • Robot repeatability assures placement in chuck.
  • Eliminate Fixtures. Vision can be used to find parts on belt conveyor(2D) or on pallet(3D).
