- Robot Re-certification Service - This service can be performed at the customer site or the robot can be returned to FANUC Robotics. Includes robot power-up, verification of safety circuits, inspect/adjust hardstops & over travel switches, repeatability testing (FRA only), adjust any gear backlash to FANUC specifications (FRA only), motor brake drop test, visual inspection for identification of missing or damaged components, application of any hardware or software upgrades, install witness marks, a robot performance audit, 10-hour run with test weight & full range of motion and preparation for shipment (FRA only).
- Level 1 - Tune-up Service - Preventative Maintenance Service is recommended for robots with less than 10,000 servo hours or 3 years of operation running 2 shifts of production. . Includes robot lubrication, reducer greasing, battery back-up replacement, replace controller filters, software file back-up and visual inspection.
- Level 2 - Preservation Service - Thorough Diagnostic and Maintenance Service is recommended for robots with 10,000 to 30,000 servo hours or 3 to 8 years of operation running 2 shifts of production. The Preservation service includes a Robot Re-certification plus removal & inspection of all motors, a complete purge & replacement of robot grease & oils, rebuild of the robot wrist, general cleaning of the mechanical unit & controller, cleaning of heat exchangers, replacement of all filters, replacement of all batteries, re-mastering robot with a fixture, 10-hour run with test weight & full range of motion and preparation for shipment.
- Level 3 - Restore Service - Major Overhaul Service is recommended for robots with greater than 30,000 servo hours or 8 years of operation running 2 shifts of production. Restoration includes a Robot Preservation plus mechanical unit disassembly for inspection of all internal drive components, replacement of internal air cables & hoses, replacement of all high speed bearing, seals, packing & o-rings on the mechanical unit, deep clean of the robot controller cabinet, refurbishment of the teach pendant, replacement of the teach pendant cable. Painting of the robot controller and mechanical unit is also available if the robot is rebuilt at FANUC Robotics.
